If you wish to make changes to the services you have ordered, please contact us as soon as possible. We allow modifications such as adding or removing services or adjusting the quantity of service before that.However, please note that once the service has started, it is generally not possible to cancel the order and issue a refund.Nevertheless, we will do our best to review your request and provide an optimal solution.
During the checkout process, we offer an estimated turnaround time based on historical order data. This estimate reflects the duration from when we assign your project to a translator until they deliver the translated content and you receive a notification. Since we exclusively collaborate with human translators, we cannot guarantee an exact turnaround time. However, we assure you that we will devote our best efforts to meet or exceed the estimated timeframe provided.
The turnaround time commences once the project is assigned to the translator. However, please note that delays can occur during the initial processing of your order. For instance, if the source file you upload is illegible, if the wrong language pair is selected, or if an incorrect number of words/pages is chosen, there may be a delay before the estimated turnaround time begins. In such cases, we will address the underlying issue before assigning the project to a translator. Additionally, if the word/page count is corrected after checkout, the turnaround estimate may be adjusted accordingly.
You have the option to request a cancellation before your order is completed. In the event of cancellation, we will calculate the refund for your translation translation based on the progress made by the assigned translator. Here are a few examples:
Example 1:
You placed an order for three pages of certified translation. If you request cancellation before the project is assigned to a translator, you will receive a full refund amount.
Example 2:
You placed an order for five pages of certified translation. If you request cancellation while the order is in progress, we will contact the translator to stop their work and determine the current word count. If the translator has already completed the translation of three pages, your refund will be prorated for the remaining two pages.
Example 3:
You placed an order for 3 pages of certified translation. If you request cancellation after the order is marked as complete, no refund will be issued.
For any secondary services (notarization, shipping, etc.) that have not been provided, you will receive a full refund. However, if any secondary services have already been provided (such as priority order handling), they are not eligible for a refund.
With the exception of USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services), we do not provide refunds for translation acceptance issues. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that our translations meet the requirements of your intended recipient. To ensure compliance, we highly recommend contacting us prior to placing your order and sharing a list of their specific requirements if you have any doubts.
We do offer a money-back guarantee for certified translations that are declined by USCIS.
You have a 30-day window, starting from when the translated content becomes available, to request a revision through email team@translatehub.co. Revisions are provided at no extra cost as long as the source material remains unchanged.However, if there are modifications to the source material, we will handle them on a case-by-case basis. In some cases, we may be able to edit the existing translation and charge for the additional translated words. However, if the changes are substantial, a full retranslation may be necessary.
One of the most common revision requests we receive pertains to the names of individuals and locations. We kindly request this information when you place your order, and we strongly encourage you to provide it, as translating name scan be particularly challenging. By doing so, you significantly reduce the likelihood of requiring revisions, ensuring a quicker delivery of your finalized translation.
Assessing the quality of a translation is a subjective matter since there are often numerous possible ways to phrase words, and word choices can vary depending on one's experience and understanding of the source material's context. We strive to collaborate with you to guarantee your satisfaction with the final translation. However, it is ultimately the translator's responsibility to make the final decision regarding word choice.
In the unlikely event that a translator fails to meet our quality standards and revisions are insufficient to rectify the situation, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to provide a refund or offer a complimentary re-translation.
We utilize the services of the United States Postal Service (USPS) and FedEx for shipping purposes. If you encounter any problems with your shipment, please notify us promptly so that we can assist you to the best of our ability in resolving the issue. It is important to note that USPS and FedEx are independent third-party service providers, and we cannot provide refunds for any issues arising from their handling of your shipment.
